If you’ve been missing the newsletter, my bad. I just got back from an epic adventure through the Alps with Heather and some friends. We bounced through Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and even squeezed in a cameo in Liechtenstein (yes, it’s real and yes, it’s amazing).

If you’ve been to that part of the world, you know. If you haven’t, add it to the list. The trip was incredible and gave me a much-needed break from the day-to-day grind.

Luckily, the business didn’t miss a beat thanks to our team of rockstars holding it down while I was off pretending to be a travel blogger.

First things first—we’re having a Happy Hour tonight, and yes, you’re invited (this email is basically your golden ticket). Join us at Chicken N Pickle in Grapevine from 6–8pm for good food, an open bar, and some actual conversation that doesn’t involve the IRS, taxes, or the word “profitability” !

Bring your spouse, a friend, a coworker—whoever you’d like to see out in the wild. No, you do not have to play Pickleball (unless you want to show off your paddle skills). We just want to hang out, relax, and remind ourselves we’re more than just spreadsheets and tax codes.

Were Hiring in our Tax Department

We’re hiring! Looking for not one, but TWO new Tax Associates to join our team.

If you know your way around a 1040, 1065, 1120 (and maybe even a 990 or 1041), we should talk. You’ll be prepping and reviewing tax returns, tackling IRS issues, running tax projections, and actually helping clients with real planning—not just data entry. Bonus points if you can lead a team, manage projects, and still make it to Happy Hour.

What we’re looking for:

• 1–5 years in public accounting

• BS in Accounting or Finance

• Strong communication skills (we like humans who talk like humans)

• Real estate tax and partnership experience? Even better.
